Texans, Titans headline AFC South

Peyton Manning's injury in Indianapolis looked like it would open the door for the Houston Texans to cruise to the AFC South division title this season, but it appears the Tennessee Titans are going to be part of that race as well heading into Week 5. Houston hosts Oakland on Sunday (1:00pm ET, CBS), while Tennessee pays a visit to Pittsburgh (1:00pm ET, CBS).

The Texans (3-1 straight up, 3-1 against the spread) hosted the Steelers over the weekend and came away with a 17-10 victory thanks to an Arian Foster touchdown run in the fourth quarter. Foster rushed for 155 yards on 30 carries in that contest, with QB Matt Schaub throwing for just 138 yards and one touchdown on the day. Owen Daniels had five catches for 69 yards and a score in the win.

It was a different story for the Raiders (2-2 SU, 3-1 ATS) in Week 4, as they were beaten 31-19 at home by New England. Jason Campbell went 25-of-39 for 344 yards through the air for Oakland with one touchdown and two interceptions, and Darren McFadden rushed for 75 yards on 14 carries. Michael Bush ran for a score in that loss for Oakland, and Denarius Moore had the TD catch.

The Texans and Raiders met in Oakland last season, with Houston winning 31-24 as a 3.5-point road favorite in an OVER result. The Texans are 4-1 SU and 4-1 ATS in their last five meetings with the Raiders.

The Titans (3-1 SU, 2-2 ATS) didn't have any problem in Cleveland in Week 4, winning 31-13 behind a three-touchdown performance from Matt Hasselbeck. The quarterback threw for 220 yards in the win and was picked off once, while Chris Johnson rushed for 101 yards. Jared Cook, Craig Stevens, and Damian Williams had the touchdown receptions for the Titans on Sunday.

Ben Roethlisberger had an off day for the Steelers (2-2 SU, 1-3 ATS) against the Texans, throwing for just 206 yards with no touchdowns and one interception and suffering a foot injury that had him in a walking boot after the game. Rashard Mendenhall found the end zone for Pittsburgh in the losing cause but only picked up 25 yards on the ground on nine carries.

Tennessee played host to Pittsburgh last season, with the Steelers coming away with a 19-11 victory as a 6-point road underdog. The Titans are just 2-3 SU and 3-2 ATS in their last five games against the Steelers.

The Sunday night game for Week 5 has Green Bay at Atlanta, while the Monday nighter is Chicago at Detroit. The other Sunday afternoon contests are Cincinnati at Jacksonville, New Orleans at Carolina, Philadelphia at Buffalo, Arizona at Minnesota, Seattle at the Giants, Kansas City at Indianapolis, Tampa Bay at San Francisco, San Diego at Denver, and the Jets at New England.

Cleveland, Dallas, St. Louis, Miami, Washington, and Baltimore are all off on Sunday as the NFL begins its bye weeks. The Oddsmaker NFL betting board will have all the lines and totals for this weekend's matchups on the gridiron.
